Local historian William Burg presents his latest book, Norcal Noisefest, an in-depth look at the history of the experimental music festival that has called Sacramento home for 27 years. Norcal Noisefest is a focal point in Burg’s discussion that details the connections between art, culture, and music in the region’s avant-garde over the decades.  

Following the presentation, enjoy a guided spotlight docent talk in the galleries to examine works of art that pair with themes highlighted in the book. Advance reading is not necessary.
