Discover sashiko, a centuries-old Japanese stitching tradition celebrated for its intricate geometric patterns and meditative practice. This immersive workshop explores the history and foundational techniques of sashiko, guiding you through stitch placement, rhythm, and tension. Create geometric patterns on prepared fabric, then apply your skills to visible mending on denim or additional sampler work.

Instructor: Emily Goyins 
Supply List: Class fee includes a sashiko needle, thread, and fabric to take home for continued practice. Hand sewing experience recommended.
