Break free at ArtMix, the Crocker’s fun-filled evening extravaganza bursting with live performances, DJed music, festive food and drinks, art activities, and so much more! Expect the unexpected at this Museum-wide party, with new, imaginative themes each month. There is one thing you can always count on: ArtMix puts the "art" in "party"!
Hear ye, hear ye! Prepare for a night of medieval mischief and merriment. Test your courage in archery tournaments, hobbyhorse jousting, and classic courtyard games, and witness swordplay demonstrations from the Sacramento Historical Fencing Society. Get a taste of the action with local live-action role-playing groups, join in live-model painting, and feast like royalty on the finest meats and cheeses—from turkey legs to charcuterie. Dress to impress the court, but leave thy swords at home—the fun shall be weapon-free!

Bags:
The Museum implements a bag search as a security measure at all Thursday evening events. Purses and personal bags larger than 8" x 6" x 2" are prohibited inside the Crocker Art Museum during events. Baby and medical bags no larger than 16” x 16” x 8" are permitted, but may be searched and tagged by security.
Ticket Return/Exchange Policy:
There will be no refunds or exchanges issued.
Code of Conduct:
The Crocker Art Museum is committed to providing our visitors, vendors, performers, and staff with a safe and secure environment. Harassment, aggression, and unruly behavior will not be tolerated. Museum staff will proactively intervene, up to and including removal from the Museum, in order to support this goal.
Costumes/Props
Please leave all props representing realistic guns, knives, or other weapons at home. Masks, full-face coverings, helmets, and props or accessories that protrude over 12 inches are not allowed on the second and third floors of the Museum, but you may check them at the Coat Check on the first floor.
